COLOURFUL WORKSPACE FOR CREATIVE TEAM Bostik HQ, Stafford
The new sales and marketing office at leading adhesive, sealant and building chemicals manufacturer, Bostik, demonstrates just how to design an environment fit for a creative team with Ocula partitioning.
Bostik wanted a more effective working environment for their sales & marketing department and Ocula Systems, exclusively supplied by SIG Distribution, certainly delivered it with colour with their frameless single FS25 system and, to provide quieter office and meeting space, their twin glazed FT80 office partitioning.
Bostik have previously worked with SIG Distribution, and have their Graphite partitioning system installed in various areas of their head office, but they wanted a totally different feel for their sales & marketing area. So, Elliott Goulding, Ocula’s Commercial Manager, recommended an Ocula frameless option which can be supplied and installed by SIG Distribution using their supply and fit option, and also allowed colour to be incorporated.
Using Logiwall, Ocula’s internal estimating software that incorporates 3D visualising functionality, the teams from Ocula and Bostik worked together to divide up what was initially an open plan area into an effective working environment for the team. The end design included Ocula FS25 single glazed partitioning system to create dividing screens and walkways through the office. The FT80 double glazed screens, complete with integral privacy blinds, were used for offices and meeting rooms where a higher sound rating would be required.
The Bostik team personally designed the funky colourful manifestation which was then manufactured to their design. The result has created a delightful workspace.
